In addition to the support and opportunities we provide to former street kids, we also provide several artisan families throughout Nicaragua with economic support by purchasing thousands of their pulseras.
The markets of Nicaragua are absolutely filled with pulseras, but many of the artisans sell only a handful a week. By purchasing pulseras at fair-market value from these families, we provide them with an economic boost, and the money raised from the sale of their pulseras in the US goes toward projects in Nicaragua for ex-street kids.
It's a true win-win situation that we're proud to be a part of.
